What this site offers

ClearTapCall is an introduction service. We connect homeowners with independent contractors. We are not a party to any agreement you reach with a contractor, we do not supervise their work and we do not guarantee it.

What the regulatory material is and is not

It describes federal requirements and repeats what EPA publishes: the Consumer Confidence Report rule and its 2024 revisions, the compliance dates, and the certification standards EPA names for particular claims.

It is not a statement of what any water system has detected and it is not a statement of what any state requires. States administer these rules on their own primacy timetables, and rules and standards are amended. Read them at the source and ask your water system about your own supply.

We say nothing about anybody’s water or health

Nothing on this site is a statement about what is in the water at any address, about whether it is safe, or about anybody’s health, and no page should be read as one. Those questions are answered by a test at your tap by a certified laboratory, and your water system and state drinking water program are where to start.

No product recommendations

We name no brands and endorse no equipment. References to certification standards describe what EPA names for particular claims; they are not a statement that any specific product performs as marketed, and certification is held by manufacturers and certification bodies rather than by us.
